Blume Mechanical Service’s VP of Business Development- Britt Blume has a commitment that fills us with immense pride—for the past 5 years, she has had the opportunity to serve on the board of The Children’s Home Society of Florida. This truly incredible organization’s most recent endeavor is supporting high-risk youth. Most recently The Children’s Home Society of Florida’s Community Partnership Schools- Mort Elementary in Tampa, FL, had the pleasure of partnering with Aetna to ensure these students have access to vital mental health resources.
In a world where the challenges faced by our youth are increasingly complex, the need for instant mental health support has never been more critical. Through The Children’s Home Society of Florida’s new partnership with Aetna, Blume Mechanical Service is privileged to be a part of the forefront of bridging the gap between high-risk youth and mental health services.
The mission of The Children’s Home Society of Florida goes beyond providing access; it’s about fostering a community that understands, supports, and empowers young individuals to overcome their unique obstacles. Together, we are breaking down barriers—addressing stigma, raising awareness, and ensuring financial constraints don’t stand in the way of seeking help.
“Being on the board has allowed me to witness firsthand the transformative impact of our programs. From counseling services to group therapy sessions, we are creating safe spaces for these children to express themselves and develop essential coping mechanisms. It’s a gratifying experience to see lives transformed, resilience built, and futures reclaimed,” stated Britt Blume “Our (CHS) approach involves collaboration and community engagement. By actively working with Mort Elementary staff, local authorities such as HCSO & Tampa PD, and other community organizations, we are building a network of support that extends beyond our immediate programs. Together, we are creating a culture where mental health is a collective responsibility.”
We invite you all to join us at Blume Mechanical Service in championing this cause. Let’s create a world where no high-risk youth is left behind, where every young person can look forward to a brighter, more resilient future!
